I was born and raised along the Columbia river in Washington state, and ever since I was a child I have loved to sit for hours to draw and paint. I attended school at Brigham Young University and graduated with a B.F.A. I saw the most growth in my painting ability during those college years.
I've recently embarked on a personal challenge to create a 1" by 1" miniature painting or drawing each day for a year. These highly detailed works of art are centered on a biblical theme. This is my daily painting diary that I've been sharing through my Instagram account @ tokensoffaith, and Christopher Creek Art on Facebook. This artwork is meant to inspire and lift the soul, and increase the faith of those that view and follow.
Over the years, I've had the ability to pursue my artistic expression through a variety of means. Whether it's through painting detailed miniatures, illustrating books and articles, or years of medical illustration, creating scupltures or producing 3D models for film, commercials, video games or for software applications, I've loved them all.
I am also currently creating 3D content in Modo software for customers that use Poser and DAZ Studio. These highly detailed and accurate human, animal and creature shapes are created for my publishing company HiveWire 3D where I'm President and Co-founder.
I am also teaching at the university level as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University. I enjoy teaching professional practices and foundation classes to students of design and illustration.
If you've gotten this far in viewing my website, I thank you for your time and interest. I will continue to stretch my abilities and strive to grow and improve with the artistic outlets that I pursue. Please consider continuing to follow along with my efforts.
